The Relationship of the century.

Social Media: Romance. We all look and hope for it, but few are lucky enough to find the real thing. Most teens and young adults look to celebrities for examples of romance because they always seem to find it, right? One of the most common examples is Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. Their relationship is “love story was one for the ages” (Cosmopolitan, 2019). They had the real thing starting back in 2010 when their popular movie “The Last Song” was filmed. The couple was very on and off. Their relationship seemed like the real thing, but the one and off tendencies gave it just enough juice to keep the relationship in the news throughout the years.
(Cyrus,2013). Their relationship may not have always been perfect, but they always seemed to work it out, they even ended up getting married in December of 2018. The couples love story may be coming to an end though, due to recent news Miley and Liam seem to have split. This may be an end to an era but neither party appear to have harsh feelings. Miley’s twitter is littered with sappy tweets such as “. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will."(Cyrus,2019)
Liam has chosen to stay silent on the matter but seems to have no hard feelings over the matter at the time being. As this relationship ends, we sit and reminisce the couples past experiences and bond that we so looked up to as the example for romance. The relationship of the century lasted from 2009 until 2019, they may have been on and off but we were always devastated when they ended it and to think it may be absolute this time our young hearts ache with emotions like empathy for the couple and sadness for the lost love.

    This relationship has always made me happy to follow. From "The Last Song" on you can just tell they were so in love. It sucks to see their relationship come to an end for now, but I have a sneaking suspicion they can't stay away from each other for too long. I hope they both find happiness in whatever they choose.

    I love the fact that both Liam and Miley have decided to not talk about it because they're aware of how words get twisted nowadays. But her recent song slide away pretty much sums their relationship up. She talks about returning to the city life (L.A) and tells her lover, allegedly Liam, to go back to the ocean (Australia). It is such a sad song.

Sleep deprivation

It has officially been a week since I began my adventure on the campus of Ohio Northern University and it has been interesting to say the least. College is such a different feeling from high school, the people, classes, and the dynamic. This week has been hectic starting off on Wednesday, I did not start packing until that day because I had been so busy with work, it just completely forgot about it until then. Packing everything up for school kind of just made me realize that high school was over, I wouldn't see my friends for a long time.
